MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is to advance the shopping center industry and to promote its role in the commercial distribution of consumer goods and services by:

  • Providing educational programs and publications in all aspects of shopping center development, finance, management, marketing and other specialized areas of professional interest;
  • Conducting meetings and other programs designed to promote the exchange of ideas among members and to facilitate the conduct of their business;
  • Collecting and disseminating information pertaining to the shopping center industry, including statistical data and other statistical research;
  • Developing and maintaining professional certification programs to encourage high standards for shopping center professionals;
  • Advocating the interest of the shopping center industry to local, state/provincial, federal and international governmental bodies; and
  • Publicizing to the general public promotional and educational shopping center business information.



As ICSC partner ADG Group will share expertise and experience of successful implementation of business cases within the biggest events in Europe and worldwide; will be able to influence the creation of international policy in all ICSC competency areas; will get the opportunity to set long-term business relationship with more than 60,000 companies from 90 countries.


ICSC representatives have readily given the highest commends to the 39 neighbourhood centres project: “The network of 39 Neighbourhood centres will provide enhanced cultural, shopping and entertainment facilities specific to the needs and traditions of each district, fostering a culture of engagement and belonging amongst local communities, as well as employing most modern customer, retailer and developer interlocking technologies.”

About the project

We reconstruct over 30 soviet movie theatres in densely populated urban areas of Moscow, transforming them into modern neighbourhood centres — the meeting places for business and customers. We aim at creating a comfortable environment with qualitative shopping and leisure opportunities at the doorstep of 10 million Muscovites, living in between of the Third Ring Road and Moscow Ring Road.
